My niece who wanted desperately to be a stewardess with Singapore Airlines was called up for the Write-In interview at Airlines House just yesterday.
During one of the rounds my niece had the misfortune to meet this old hag who kept telling her that her accent was foreign. Think she wanted her to speak singlish instead. Stupid isn't it?
Just before the interview I tried to connect with a guy working in the office whom I knew quite passionately and who could have help my niece. This guy " Joe" was beating around the bush and gave me all sorts of crap excuses why he could not help my niece. Joe is in a position where he could have "pulled string". Guest I did not give a fantastic blow job during our flying days. I am still fucking pissed with him. No balls but talked alot about being in position of influence (that was before I asked him for assistance).
The cabin crew people boast alot about their power to help and sack the crew. Help my jagadish!
I've asked my niece to apply for Emirates instead. Forget about SQ!I told her.
